I thought it might be helpful to give you a list of my favorite weight loss websites. When I first started on Weight Watchers I had done a lot of research to get me to that point. I had micro-researched the subject, so to speak. There were a lot of things I picked up here and there that I think helped me to succeed on the Weight Watcher’s plan.
You may find that Weight Watchers is not the best fit for you or your lifestyle. That’s not a bad thing. Not all plans work for all people. I think the basics apply to any weight loss strategy and that’s what is important. You have to start somewhere. This is a do-able thing, losing weight. It just takes commitment and a little bit of trial and error to find what works for you.
I was one of those people who spent hours in the gym and never did anything but gain weight or stay the same. I tried Curves, and when that didn’t work, I joined Lifetime and went religiously for an entire year. Nothing, Zip, Nada! I was in great shape, just not skinny. That’s when I started doing research online and reading.
I truly believe that a weight loss program must be tailored to your particular metabolism. This led me to focus my research on programs and books that took that angle.
As an example I was desperate enough at the time to get sucked into an infomercial called the 6 Week Body Makeover. I bought this program and gave it a try. It was way to extreme, but the basic concept struck a cord with me. I picked up some great info and that made it worth it.
The main idea here is that I found something that made sense to me, that got me excited, got me started in the right direction.
To get back to the point of this post…I wanted to give you a list of some of the websites out there that I found useful. So, I will stop rambling and get to it. Don’t put it off any longer. Start doing your own research and find that spark to get you started!
Remember, It’s just my opinion…
